Got a response from one of my representatives today on S.59. North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis says he is in full support and if the bill comes before the full senate he will vote for it.

Both VA senators are anti-gun douches.  I have received a reply from Timmay but nothing from Warner.

I've written my cock sucking liberal representatives and they've just sent form letters. They say in their prewritten form letters that they'll consider my opinion but what they really mean is....'BBBWWWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It's funny because you really think we're going to listen to a peasant.'

Still waiting for it to hit the floor.  Doubt it'll make it out of committee

With the EO to reduce regulations, the push for better healthcare (hearing), 2ndA being more popular than ever, etc, I am hopeful. Especially after reading the ATS COO's paper.

I wrote my congressman with the standard form letter from arfcom. It had the "you may not have heard of the HPA yet..." schtick in it.

He wrote me back, turns out he's co-sponsoring the bill. Don't I feel like a jackass. But hey, a yea vote is a yea vote. I'll take it.

My libtarded representative sent me this response:

Dear feelthepayne,

Thank you for contacting me about the Hearing Protection Act. I am honored to hear from you and proud to represent you. Since coming to Congress, I have been working very hard to advance my policy agenda based on four key priorities – peace, prosperity for working families, environmental sustainability, and support for human and civil rights.

The Hearing Protection Act (H.R. 367) would undo regulations and licensing requirements of the National Firearms Act regarding firearm silencers, which muffle the sound of a gunshot. The legislation would also eliminate the $200 transfer tax on firearm silencers, and implement it retroactively, providing a refund to those who paid the tax after October 22, 2015. Current law does not prevent responsible gun owners from protecting their hearing by buying silencers at the current time. Rest assured, I will keep your views in mind should the House of Representatives consider this legislation.

Thank you again for contacting me. As always, do not hesitate to contact me on any issue of concern. You may sign up for my e-newsletter by visitingwww.ellison.house.gov.

Sincerely yours,

Keith Ellison
United States House of Representatives
