Nope. I charge it every other day and will use it until I get it replaced in a few weeks. I don't use cheap chargers , and I do not leave it on the charger past what it needs. With maybe 35 phones worldwide and maybe one here in the U.S., I am not worried.

Last I saw only 35 phones out of 2.5 million had a battery rupture. I don't leave mine on the charger long,  it hasn't even gotten the faintest bit warm, and I don't want some loaner phone or a s7.  I'll wait for the new note 7 phones to be out.

I'm on call so it's not really an option.  I'll take it in as soon as the new ones are available.  Does anyone know if any of the explody devicrs were on wireless chargers? I cant find any info besides they all seem to be plugged in when they sploded.

I would suggest you guys all do your charging on a non combustible surface like a granite counter top with no upper cabinet or paper towel holder around. If there's nothing that can ignite, the danger is very low.

I would NOT charge it on your wooden night stand, next to some curtains and books, or even worse, leave it in the car parked in garage!

Keep a Samsung on you and a Glock and you're your own suicide bomber and not even know it.

I've just been charging mine in the evening and taking it off the charger if I'm not in the vicinity.

I'm not taking it back until they have a new one ready.

Negative on the wireless chargers, which is what I use. From everything I have seen it is crappy cheap chargers, and leaving them connected.
