Is it just me, or are these getting really fucking hard to find? Specifically the 30rd AR15 variety. I was going to order some more from Primary Arms, had them in my cart and they went out of stock yesterday. Then today, the page for them was deleted. PSA doesn't have any. Brownells doesn't have any. Aim doesn't have any. Midway doesn't have any. Not trying to be an alarmist... but seems odd. Quoted: for my roadrunner hemi brother. just lay a bead on the window from a toothpaste tube sized rtv tube. if any gets off the window itself, just slice it off with a razor, when it dries. you can rtv, or even tape the inside. some guys say the window wont take dye, yet you can dye clear mags, so it's up to you. frisket masking tape will stick on the inside, if you don't want to smear some rtv on the back side of the window. of course, this is all done after you disassemble the mags, and give them a thorough scrubbing in hot soapy water, and rinse and dry them. i'll share some pics of some of mine, when i get back home from memphis. i am still waiting for a few more boxes here, and will post up the last of my scores, when they arrive. i am also going on a hunt, for "novelty caliber" mags, (like .308) and the 20 and 40 round stuff, at the local shops. ill snag what i can find, and offer it at cost + shipping, to the guys who have already asked for this stuff, earlier in this thread. Yeah, 40s appear to be gone from the online retailers. I went about 5 pages deep on Google, all OOS. LGS prolly the best option at this point.

Being as complex as they are... spray paint makes WAY more sense anyway. But fuck it. I want one. |

Would think with PSA's buying power, they could order a bajillion mags in sand, including drums, from MagPul.
Even better would be D5/60 drum kits that come disassembled for easy dye work. Save a buck or two on Magpul's cost and our price. |

The only one ever released in sand is the carbine SL one, which is pretty limiting. Mid/rifle would be very cool to be able to buy. |

I'm gonna start neckbearding Rit Dye,...with all these sand mags stock sets and floor plates bought in the past couple weeks surly the demand will be there!

20s have been hard to find for a while. If anyone comes across any 10rd sand pmags let me know. I like the lower capacity for my kids and bench work.
I got a bunch of 30s at Scheels about a year ago for $8.99, red tagged. I should have cleaned them out |

You know, guys, all they have to do to produce albino mags is not add color to the mix. I bet we could talk a retailer into talking Magpul into doing a limited run of albino something... like D60 mags

Seriously, I'm down with this idea.
I think a better option is a thread. Threads get traction, both PSA and Magpul are industry partners. Plus, it's literally a thread to give them money. If there's a market, they'll do it for sure |
