Alright, that was a treat. I used some 800 and 1000 grit wet dry paper and then hit it with the bench buffer. It's pretty dang good as it is but I know it can be better. Would Flitz at this point be a good idea? Where would I find flitz? that is a good question. i tried every wally world, home store, auto parts place, etc. within a 20 mile radius. ended up finding the stuff in a hole-in-the-wall hardware store 5 minutes away. a lot of chain places don't carry it because there are less expensive options out there. but in my opinion, flitz is the best. |

Best thing Ive found out there is Morhters Aluminium polish. Its a hydrofloric acid paste which really brings out a good shine. I use it on aluminium diamond plate and it works very very well. Extremely time consuming but it works. Is that similar to Mother's?
