Sandman67 is my father, as some of you already know. He had his gall bladder removed yesterday, around 10:30am. I just would like to inform you guys that the surgery went well, and he came home the same day. Obviously he is tired and still has aches here and there, but overall as long as he lays in the recliner he is good.

For everyone who knew, thanks for the prayers. Just lettin' ya all know.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. Very sore and achy today. I'm trying to avoid the Vicodan bacause a possible side effect is vommiting and if that happens I know I will see stars

so I'm trying to get by on extra strength tylenol.

All in all it wasn't that bad, but lying in that OR right before they put you out is very, very scary.
