Rush Limbaugh
Sean Hannity
Monica Crowley
Laura Ingraham
Glenn Beck
Larry Elder
Neil Boortz

For Sirius you can get Sean Hannity on CBS news channel. No rush limbaugh. laura Ingrahm is on Sirius Right channel, and the others I don't know. You will also get the NRAnews radio show Cam and Company, Savage, Fox News Channel plus many more.

Sirius has Tony Snow, Tammy Bruce, Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage, Rusty Humphries, Michael Reagan, NRA, Jerry Doyle, Sean Hannity.

stations include Sirius Right, Patriot Talk and Fox News.

I have it on at my desk all the time.

XM has Ingraham, Savage, Beck, Hannity, Elder, Reagan, Fox News.  I don't think Rush is on any satellite radio.  Probably a question of $$.

Never heard of Monica Crowley so I don't know but XM has all the rest except Rush and Boortz, I'm pretty sure.

Does the use of an FM modulator degrade the sound quality at all?

I'm not too keen on blowing big bucks on an all-new system.

The Roady2 has a built in wireless FM modulator. All you need is power and an antenna. Makes it portable if you want to move from car to car and not have to install a cradle and kit.
Personally I like the CSpan channel in the morning on XM. After that I turn to the Comedy Channel.
Channel 150. Uncensored and funny as shit.

Slightly, a dedicated receiver would probably be better sounding.
