Didn't shoot any pictures of those targets. I had my G20 out doing some practice at 10 yards.

Looks like quite the fun day! What kind of cans do you have on the front of your AR's? I'm looking to pick up one in the near future, but still haven't decided on one yet.  I'm not looking forward to the wait.

I really like UBR stocks. My best advice is try to find someone that has one and see how it fits you.

Heavy does not begin to describe it. Makes a good Bench/Sniper stock though.

I get so tired of hearing people say the stock is heavy.  It doesn't balance a bit different than a CTR or ACS on my 18".  It's heavy off the gun for a reason.  It has a buffer tube and end cap built into it.

I love the UBR.

The UBR's weight has never been an issue for me. I pretty much use it on all my scoped AR's. The cheek weld isn't optimum for me when using a red dot or open sights.

Most likely the picture. I wasn't on the gun when I took the picture.

Years ago, when Chris Costa worked for Magpul, I asked him in the Magpul forum if I should buy a UBR or CTR for my Larue Stealth. He replied that if I was Benchresting or doing something like that, the UBR was fine, otherwise he recommended the CTR. I bought the UBR anyway. So far, I haven't thought of my 18" Stealth as a carbine, so it's been okay, but really it's a 1.5lb stock. I guess I'm not man enough to want to walk around with it.  It's a great solid adjustable stock, but it's not lite in my opinion.

Edit: This is not that thread...  http://3gn.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=2&f=219&t=209212

I use troy micro HK style sights on both of my UBR'd rifles.  a trijicon tripower in an arms mount, and a Vortex 1-4x top them off.  No cheek weld problems.
