| Started with a Jack and Coke and now beginning to kill a 12 pack of Coors Light |
Sam Adams Oktoberfest is one of my favorite fall beers. Had a couple last night. Just opened up a San Miguel Dark Lager. A beer that I have been buying a lot of lately. It is my new favorite beer. It's from the Philippines. Very yummy! First heard about it on Three Sheets on Mojo. |

Some Penn Oktoberfest, Lancaster's Hop Hog, Victory's Storm King, and Weyerbacher's Hop Infusion. Yeah, I like PA Microbrews... ETA: I've mentioned this before but I will again. Sam Adams did something with their Oktoberfest this year that I don't like. Don't get me wrong, it's still better than Coors Light aka Girls Light, but it doesn't taste as good as it did last year. |
Ever play Edward 40-Hands before? We used to do this at WVU. Have 2 40's taped to your hands. Have someone take off the lids. Drink as fast as you can before you piss yourself. ETA: My brother, a PSP Trooper and fellow WVU grad, went to a domestic call with a fellow trooper, a quite straight-laced guy. Upon arriving at the scene, the hubby wasn't there but his blushing bride was. My bro's partner makes a comment to the effect questioning who the heck drinks 40s and don't they get nasty towards the end. My brother responds "They don't get nasty as long as you drink 'em real fast!" The blushing bride remarks the same. |
Great... now I have to go try that. You sir, have just insured me yet another night of belligerence. |
Funny thing, my dad has always drunk coors light...My grandma, his mom passed away within the last year (my memory is horrible). When we were in Nebraska for the funeral, my dad, brother, and I were drinking coors light for the 3 days we were there, the last day we were saying goodbye to everyone as the immediate family, cousin, uncles were taking what was left to them by my grandma, we were in the basement of this fellows house. Apparently he was a friend of my grandma and grandpa and for the last few years theyd been living together. Well I managed to clear everyone out of the house for a bit - long story for an ending that's probably not that funny.
