Bought one for the daughter. She is 8 years old and it is her first gun.

Anybody had experience with them?

Bought my daughter one, for Christmas this past year. Not too bad for the price. Pretty accurate, only issue I've seen is a lot of rounds will misfire in it, but fire in my older daughters Crickett. Haven't checked it out yet but more than likely something simple.

My son has the Cub which I believe is the older version of the Rascal. It is a tac driver of a little rifle. I like the wood stock and accutrigger of it as well. I believe it to be a better gun than the Cricket or Chipmunk.

Got one for my son last summer. Great little shooter. Never had any issues, goes bang every time. I put a cheap Caldwell bipod on and had the barrel threaded. He was hitting a golf ball at 25 yds last week, not every time, but he's only 5.

Got my son an orange one for his 5th bday as he''s been obsessed with orange for as long as I can remember.

It's done exactly what it is intended to do, and it shoots fairly well too.

I picked up a LH Rascal for my daughter last year. Between the good sights and the AccuTrigger, it's the best currently made youth .22 rifle, IMHO.

My boy's Rascal kicks ass. Accurate, light, and an easier manual of arms than a Chipmunk. It was way easier to teach sight alignment with peep sights, although him watching his uncles play Call of Duty probably helped.

My 10 year got one for Christmas. It fits nicely and peep sight is sweet. He's getting almost too BG for it already. Next is the M&P 15 22 or Rossi 357 lever.
