In my neck of the woods locals still daily drive these tiny two door mini trucks (rangers, Mazdas, Toyotas, and Nissans) for some reason not many s-10’s. It’s cool seeing them all the time with two adults comfortable riding around. And then seeing the lone driver in huge trucks or suvs. And for many it’s all they need |

I really like the open top 4 seat version. My driving is 50% only me commuting within 20 miles but heavy traffic, 45% taking wife and 2x little kids around within 5 miles of me for lunches and fishing and shit. Only 5% is any drive more than 20 miles or needing to bring a lot of stuff with me. I like it. |

Finally a PowerWheels for adults. It looks very similar to the truck I modded for my son back in the day, especially the trunk. Wonder if you could plumb the classic PowerWheels motor whine sound through the speakers like Dodge did with the fake V8 sound. |

Got a 91 ranger sclb that wouldn’t take much to get back on the road either. Unless I’m towing a trailer, the 06 Silverado stays parked. |

For a utilitarian vehicle they seem like a no brainer |
| I would love an extended cab version with a longer wheelbase to still keep the original bed length. Not a full quad cab, just extended. I want some interior room to be able to recline the seats a bit and store some shit that I don't want bumping around in the bed. |

I like the concept of a simple truck. The cheapest Maverick is about $28K list and the cheapest Nissan is about $35K. Both more than this tho both of those are loaded with unnecessary crap. I'd love an ICE version with a small I4 and a manual trans and 2wd. make it using the same concept, easy to repair, no unnecessary crap. The ice version should sell less than a EV, say 20Kish. I know lots of guys who are not in the whole gotta keep up with Jones and status symbol aspect of vehicles. They want a simple no frills vehicle that is cheap to buy and own. Unfortunately nobody makes that kind of stuff anymore. I hope this does real well so some other manufacturers either start up or some of the existing ones pull their heads out of their asses and make one. |
