| I saw a Radio Shack hand held scanner for sale for $169.00. It is triple trunking and gets VHF and UHF. Is that a good deal? Or do any of you have any suggestions? |
| I have a RS handheld triple trunk that I got for about that amount and it works well. Make sure the agencies you want to listen to are not digital yet. If they are it won't pick them up. If you get it, stick with the antenna that is on it to start with. Get a computer interface cable and go on the web to program the thing for trunking. SS |
