17 years off and on pain. Surgery back in 2004 when I was 23 but I think I've re injured it.

Literal pain in the ass.

Coming up on a year ago this 4th of July when I had my last episode.

Stupid thing is I moved an inverting table up stairs by myself to set it off again

It was months before I was doing good again. PT and injections got me back to moving again.

Must continue to take it easy and not do stupid things.

Sure as hell is. I have been able to control it with yoga, diet and exercise the last couple years but that mother fucker will occasionally roar its ugly head every couple months.

My wife is way into yoga, I am actually starting with her this weekend.

Curious to hear what diet changes you made to help the sciatica

Based on the thread the other day about fibro, am I correct in saying this is a negative post against fibromyalgia?

If not and you are being serious forgive me and I am truly sorry for you condition. If it is a negative post against people with fibro, allow me to explain something to you.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way?

My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

Before my surgery the only thing that eased my pain was the driver's seat in my Jeep. I guess something about the position / support - something. Ate pain pills. Surgery in March 2004. Aug 2004 we got Hurricane Ivan. I had to cut my way out of my house with a chainsaw. Fucked it up again. 2nd surgery in November 2004. Not as successful. Take care of your back.

ETA - no longer have my Jeep.

I really don't know what did it for me. The injections or the PT or both.

I did 2 of the 3 you are allowed in the time frame but am able to go back whenever needed. It's really nothing to scary either. The dang IV setup is worse than the injection itself.

It was my worst episode so I was ready to do whatever. It was real bad

Yeah I had excruciating sciatica for several years when I was in my late twenties. My son's in his early 20s and has fibromyalgia. His is much more depressing because he doesn't know if it will ever go away at least with sciatica I was pretty sure it would eventually.

I had sciatica for over 10 years due to a misalignment of my lower spine (Lumbar Spondylolisthesis) from an old injury.

Sciatica, numbness, tingling, back pain, etc.

Finally couldn't take it anymore and had surgery 2 1/2 years ago.

Much better now.
