[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Scope rings

I want to get a burris 1" scope to put on a Remington 700, will these rings work fine? I haven't looked at a 700 in person and am not sure how it mounts.

They will work if you have a weaver style base. You may need high rings depending on the size of your objective.

if its a .308 i would get the burris meduim tactical rings (or whatever height you need.) they are very solid on my savage 10fp in 308

So the picatinny style mounts are what the 700 uses?

I wish I'd known about Burris XTR rings before I bought Leupold.

They are all I buy now.
