And then he did it hand built to original specs..... fully functional authentic copy of Model 1872 45-70 Govt. He was a cool dude and a hell of a machinist.

I think I still have a full set of blueprints for that Gun. They are stored away somewhere. I’ll take a look next week or so when I get near my storage area. Edit: not really a machine gun. It’s a Gatling gun which is perfectly illegal without any paperwork. |

And of course, more fouling to remove than smokeless. If I were planning on actually shooting it, I don’t think I’d worry about a little inert BP soot being on it here and there, as long as it’s kept oiled/lubed *I’d love to shoot it BP
