Why even have it, if you cant modify search parameters, or search user names or pretty much search anything worth searching? Half the time it doesnt bring up anything on a word that should have brought up a 1000 search results. It's extremely annoying. This site is huge, and you have to thumb through 50 pages sometimes just to find a thread that was posted a couple of weeks ago. If this has been discussed somewhere on here already, sorry I couldnt find it..... the search feature doesnt work very well....

| I see. I've never been on a forum where the search functions were limited for those that weren't contributors. Always thought these kind of sites operated from advertising income. Didn't think they would need to put restrictions on non-paying users. Seems strange they would restrict the search tool though. |
