On the old site, I often searched for posts by my user name. It was a way to keep up with threads in which I had an interest (had made a contribution). It also allowed me to find cogent threads and then refer people who were interested in a subject that had been covered previously. Please consider reinstating that feature to the search option. Search will now check the author, subject title, AND all reply authors. The author names MUST match (in order to speed up the search) so if you type "goat" you will get any topics with the word "goat" or variation thereof as a result, but only topics where an author or reply poster is named "goat".
