I am looking for 2 certain years of bourbon, the Evan Williams single barrel in 2002 and 2004.
My local ABC store don't have the single barrel at all, but I am looking at other stores. I don't know or have any connections with store employees to see if they can help. First off, is it even possible to find these bourbons? I don't want to spend a fortune on them, but want them for my boys when they are of age. A 2015 is about 5 years away. If it is possible, what avenues are there to look that aren't my ABC store? Online private seller? Online liquor store? If it's not possible, is there another bourbon that is worthwhile that is bottled up in those years that may be easier to come by? |

Having a hard time pulling the second link on my tablet, can pull it on the work computer but not ordering from that computer being hooked up to the server. Call on Tuesday for that one too! | So ordering booze online in NC is illegal, and they won't take the order much less ship it. I have gone to my local ABC store and talked to the guy and they had some 2005 on the shelf (different store, close to home vs work) but 2004 may be hit or miss coming from the warehouse. 2002 he says he doesn't think he will see again come through his doors. |

I have obtained the 2004, but the 2002 is not available in the state through their system. I am using these as gifts, and the years are why they are important, not exactly the contents. If I can't find the 2002, is there another option for decent bourbon that has 2002 clearly written on the label? |
