I'm a small business owner. I make good coin in a relatively little amount of time and not a whole lot of effort on my part. Downside is, my business income is directly effected by global markets, and then again by ability to deliver product. If the market is up, I can get by with delivering less product. If the market is low, I can hopefully deliver more product to counter the market price. But for the past few months, I have been faced with low market prices, combined with low product numbers. Somehow I pull it off every month and cover my bills, put a little away in savings, etc. but I'm growing tired of having this cloud over me at the end of every month.......

So cruising the want ads, I find a job working for a big name company, second shift, and at a good wage. It is compatable with my businesss schedule, and the extra income could pay off the cars, work on the mortgage, finance my small militia <joke >, and do a lot to make life a little more "secure".........

My delima is, the schedule would only leave me time enough to see my little girl for an hour or so in the AM, and then on the weekends. What say you...?

If you were single it would be one thing but you sound like a family man. Do what you think is best for your relationship with your daughter.

I have been doing the same thing, working three jobs at the same time and getting alot of money at my spare time, I just dont hunt that much...

Making extra $1,500 a month for 30 hours is great for me to put into my savings account that I can retire early ...

My thoughts exactly. I could keep on bumping along with my current situation and all be good. Or the market / volume situation could really get out of hand and I'm ass out, waiting for another good job to come along. I have a pretty good idea what I need to do, but it just doesn't click 100% with what I want to do.

Two are part time. One of them involved raising my hand and being shipped off to Benning to play in the sand for a few months back between marriages when I was bored on my weekends. The others evolved over time. Job offers that I accepted, etc.
