At the bowling alley.  Security guard in uniform has full batman belt on.  Handcuffs, full mag pouches...empty serpa pistol holster.

Place your bets:

Not authorized to carry a gun?

Left it in the bathroom?

Left it at home?

Poll inbound.

A local grocery that we frequent used to have armed security. The grocery chain changed policy to disarm the security, and they all wear belts with empty holsters  now. My vote is "not authorized".

Used to happen to me all the time.  You will be working an armed post today, only to be diverted to an unarmed post at the last minute.

My guess he licensed and qualified, but the client doesn't want him armed.

Technically, it's unarmed security.

And my town has about one murder a year on average.  It's safe.

A guy working at our local bowling alley got killed  this week.  He got hung up in the pin resetter.

Interesting.  I used to do all my bowling in Phillipsburg, NJ.  The town is so beat down that KFC and Sonic both went under.  Never saw a guard at the bowling alley, though.
