Glad you posted in the Ohio HTF, about all I frequent here... I am right off I70 west of Columbus, Ohio can meet reasonable further west and get close to destination. Have a job with a decent schedule to work around, have a pup at home (who's missing his brother we lost last fall) so probably could accommodate a pit stop/over night rest. | Google maps shows me 2 hours 16 minutes away from St. L. And 2 hours 26 minutes from Indy. So, about 7 hours round trip not counting rest stops and some time to walk the dog and make sure he is relaxed and cool to ride with me. I am thinking that it's a bit much, so hopefully someone can help shorten the distance. |

That's absolutely too much, if you are doing the math for you, in the middle, going the whole way, St. L to Indy and back to you. I think that is MOAR than 7 hours. (I don't know...just assuming you are kind of in the middle which means it looks more like 9 hours to me by the time you get back home. Just trying to understand WHERE you are and what the best start point and end point are for you. |

I'm in the Toledo area, which puts me a ways off the intended route and it looks like cotter has the Columbus area covered. If you do end up routing through northern Ohio, I can throw in. I'll just need some notice if it's going to be during the week. I can also back up cotter through central Ohio, with some planning, if that becomes necessary. Say from the Dayton area to the Ashland/Wooster area. @Kitties-with-Sigs |

@cotter6015 How far west could you go? I ask because @RECONSIX can go south of Akron a ways as needed, so I'm wondering if you could go to Indy (I'm not sure how long that drive is) and then bring Loki just north of Columbus to meet either ReconSix or the next driver? If so, we just have a hole between St. Louis and Indy. I thought we had someone there, but he is too far out of the way for it to make any sense at all. If Indy is too far, just say so. Nobody should have to do anything extreme. Lots of folks in these areas, we just have to get the word out that the need is there. ~Kitties |
