Anybody know how he's doing in polls around PA?  Last I heard he was in for the fight of his life, but I'm nowhere near there and haven't heard anything recently?  I expect it will be rough for him, being a really conservative guy in a sorta blue state.

He's behind by double digits to former Gov. Casey's son.

Not good, he's one of the stronger conservatives in the Senate, and the Dem's are gunning for him.

He's a strong conservative but my pet peve is that his only residence in PA is an empty house ......

Actually lives in DC/VA.

Is this the norm for a senator/representative?

Or have I been in the back-woods too long and don't understand modern/main-stream politics?

it doesnt look good for him, but maybe if would of done anything for pa durring his past term he wouldnt be in that much trouble.

maybe i missed something from being in and out of iraq and finnishing up college, but i honestly can not recall anything that he has done befor this year,

i believe his children go to a private school in VA so that should say somthing about his residence.

it really is too bad as Specter is an assclown

Santorum is a stand-up guy.  I wrote him a few weeks ago regarding the amnesty proposals and he promptly replied and said he would vote against any proposed amnesty bill.  He lived up to his word - he's got my support.
