It’s no more a cookie than a sandwich is a slice of bread. It uses cookies to form something else.

If it was made with actual oatmeal cookies like it was 100 years ago I might agree.
It’s a pastry now since they use a soft dough with a little oatmeal. They don’t use actual cookies and haven’t during any of our lifetimes. |

I see cookies as a single layer of something. You start stacking stuff together and it's no longer a cookie. It becomes something else.
The exception is Oreos, but I don't call them cookies either. Just Oreos. |

Wife makes these COOKIES. Ritz crackers made into a peanut butter sandwich and dipped in white chocolate. Soooooo good.
Took 120 of them to the shop. Gone by 2 in the afternoon. Probably 15 or 20 guys.  Attached File |
