| Have you ever used your wife or SO's shampoo? I used her super volumeizing shampoo today because I was out and my hair is not the same. She has like 6 to choose from, and 4 conditioners at least. I just have one bottle of shampoo and one bar of soap. You? |
|
My wife becomes dissatisfied with whatever brand she is using when there is about 1/4 of the bottle left, so it finds it's way to my side of the shower, and she gets something new. I just use whatever is left in the bottle, and by the time it's gone, there is another one there. My hair is so short I've never noticed a difference. No strange feminine smells or anything either. Hey, keeps me from having to buy something.

I have a very difficult time finding shampoo these days. It all has berry smells or nasty perfume smells. What ever happened to plain old unscented shampoo? This is the only stuff I can find. http://www.overstockdrugstore.com/product_images/n/022400000305.jpg and that stuff just looks gay. I've always liked "T-Gel" it looks like maple syrup and smells like tar. |

I dunno, never paid attention to it being medicated, I just like the tar smell. I mean, medicine is good right ?

I needed a laugh today. |
| I've never used my husband's shampoo... I did however get extremely tired of my hair being frizzy and dry all the time. None of the "extra nourishing" conditioners ever helped, none of the frizz-ease type stuff helped. Did a little research and now I only use Sulfate-free shampoo and my hair has never felt nor looked healthier. The sulfates are surfectants, they are what makes shampoo foamy (because foamy means it's working, right? Nope, not the case!) and are very harsh and damaging to hair. I'm sure I've skipped over a lot of details, but that's the jist of it. Sulfate-free is the way to go for healthy hair. |

I use loreal mega moisture from a Sally's beauty supply on my super bleached hair. Only thing that seemed to work. Then I switched to a Wen knock off that doesn't have sulfates. Feels like a minty conditioner, no suds and leaves hair perfect. |
