I want to get some Ranchos but there are a blue million of them and I have no clue as to which are better for heavy haul applications.
Any ideas?

You could get Ranchos, but in my experience Bilstein makes a better, much longer lasting shock. Personally, I would get Bilstein HD's for a 2500 series truck.

I have bilsteins on my 03 2500HD and I don't like how they ride when I hit bumps. I think the vendor sold me the wrong shock (too short) when I bought them and its topping out when I hit a bump.

Sounds like Bilsteins are the better choice. I will check into those.
I am using OEM Monroes and they just don't have the beef I need for towing my Bobcat and tractors around.
