Got an offer for 12 months for $10, is it worth it?

Have you ever read the magazine?

If you have, and like the mag, and less than $1/issue is attractive to you, perhaps you should go for it.

(FWIW, I am a subscriber)

It's a descent magazine.  And hey, for $.83 a month if you don't like it, you are not out that much.

The issues are a bit thin sometimes, but overall, for that price, they even hooked me recently.

You'll like it for a year or 2 untill they run out of material and start repeating. I don't know how many times I have read an article questioning the .38 special or if 9mm is enough.

I am in the process of letting most/all of my shooting magazine subscriptions run out - IMHO the info here is fresher & better than anything I've read in them in years.

I will still get the NRA mag monthly (Life+) and my son will get the NRA youth mag (Life) even though he's still years away from being able to read it (I pass them along to my favorite nephew for now), and I will probably continue to take Gun Tests, just because I've always liked their unbiased "We Don't Accept Advertising" testing & reporting.

Of all of the "slick" gun mags (and believe me - at one time I've subscribed to ALL of them ), Shooting Times is the one I'd be the most tempted to continue taking - but I think I'll even let it go.

That being said, I still think it's worth $10/year - especially if you've never subscribed to it before.

Thanks for the feedback, I am sending in my subscription request tommorow.
