| I am lucky enough this yeat to go to my first shot show down in Vegas. I do not personally have a dealers liscence but my friend does. What is there at this show for the average consumer to buy? Is it like a typical gun show where I can buy mags etc or is it just a trade show.Also is anyone else here going to be there? |

It's mostly a trade show. If you are there on the last day though, take lots of cash. I picked up a Benchmade & a Luminox for half price when I was there, and there was lots more stuff I could have gotten. The Ace stock guy was selling his stuff well below retail all week long. I wouldn't count on things like mags etc. One piece of advice, assuming you'll be there for a couple of days. Take the first day and cruise the entire place. Take the map and mark off the places you want to spend more time at, and then go back & really get into what they've got. I tried marking up the map before we got there and it all fell apart when we walked in the door. Oh, and since you're not industry, try to stay out of the way. They will know that you're not there "working", and it's best to try and remember that everyone else is there trying to make money. |
