[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Shoulder replacement failure?

1 year, 10 days and 4 hours since total left shoulder replacement. Just got a call from docs office. Last weeks Arthrogram with contract and CT scan results back. Glenoid failure. Its been a rough year...damn thing hurts anytime I use it, pick something up...now I know why...

Anyone else run into this? I guess revision surgery is next. Wonder what the warrany is?

One of my younger brothers had to have a shoulder fix redo after about a year. The redo was about three years ago.

Sorry to hear that.
I got a labrum repair which got torn again.
Oddly enough, the rehab for the second time around was different than the first time around.

Is this one of the shoulders they are advertising on TV about failing and a lawsuit?

sure as shit not what I want to hear, I will be getting a shoulder replacement in the not too distant future.
