[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Shredded Canopy

I have one of those 'portable garages,' the ones made of 2" thinwall pipe and a fabric roof.

The wind got to it. Shredded the HELL out of it; the canopy is basically totalled.

Anyone have any ideas of how to prevent the tarp canopy from shredding once the wind starts?

You can try using rope and lashing over the outside to reduce the amount of flex in the wind. Like truckers do. Kinda like a big cargo net over the outside , tie it off to the frame somehow.
