I'd answer but I have no experience in this area. In general, unless you have witnesses, it seems cops side with the women in most cases. Even just ludicrous ones.
I'd never be in that woman's presence again without video running, and you need to call your lawyer asap and tell him what happened. beyond that man, I don't know what to tell you. It's a shitty situation. |

I am lawyer, but I am not your lawyer. Here are two pieces of general advice I will give to anyone for free:
1) Delete your post and stop posting about your legal problems on the Internet. Do not make any statements to anyone other than your lawyer about this incident. Shut your mouth. Really. 2) Get a good lawyer in your area. Now. Immediately. Follow his advice. Profit. Sorry for your trouble and the difficult situation you are in. I do not mean to be unsympathetic, but merely emphatic. |

You need LEGAL REPRESENTATION RFN.
There is not enough information to say much more than that. Remember that a conviction for a misdemeanor DV charge will bar you from owning firearms FOREVER. You say "ex" but that may not insulate you from DV charges, depending upon the laws in your state. Since you are posting here, I am concluding that you don't know. Neither do I, for your state. I know you have the assault charges against her, but don't be surprised if she goes to a court commissioner to file DV charges against you. You must get out in front of this right this minute. Hearings on DV complaints are scheduled very, very quickly, and your lawyer will have little time to prepare. Standard assault charges are usually not scheduled as quickly. The child abuse charges will likely turn upon medical examinations, photographs as witness testimony. You need your lawyer to find out what's out there, and do it fast. |
call your lawyer now before the shit gets to deep.
