It looks like "killing the messenger" has been the primary Sig corporate strategy to overcome the current controversies. Ben has been a constant and entertaining source of controversy, but it's hard to believe that this has anything to do with anything other than sig, seeing as how all of his content from the past few days have been directly Sig related.  Where is Ben Stoeger's IG, and yet another SIG PR fail!!! |

I’m not going to say he should be banned. Only leftists should be deplatformed and refused entrance into the town square of ideas. But that guy was WILDLY annoying with his self-insertion into every little bit of gun community drama, particularly where he was neither needed nor wanted. Gunslaps levels of gonzo reporting. No one is going to miss his uninvolved takes except those that like controversy for controversy sake. |

This is very true, with the exception of all of the gun nuts I follow on Instagram always share his irritating self-insertion, thus making up about 10-20% of my feed. I wish he’d dial it back 10-25%. Then he wouldn’t be so annoying. |

He is obviously a troll but he doesn't hold back and slays a lot of sacred cows that needed to be slain that nobody else had the balls to touch including but not limited to: -Juiced up Brovets who can't shoot for shit selling tactical knowledge. -The Staccato is not a duty weapon. -The mutually masturbatory nature of the shooting/training industry. -Instructors with cult-like followings that are actually teaching shitty techniques that they want to keep "secret sauce". -Instagram gunfluencers selling overpriced hypebeast products that don't actually do shit. And so on...... He's the first dude with actual credentials and a platform calling out a lot of shit that needed to be called out over the past 2 decades. You have to respect the fact that he has no sponsors, and his main source of income which is his training classes, he gives away for 100% free on youtube. If the industry was actually honest with itself and allowed for free form criticism, then we wouldn't need Ben around. But until then.... |

There are three aspects to Stoeger. One is the arch internet troll. He is relentless in his smartassery. And he will argue for the sake of arguing, whether he believes he's right or not. Another is the competition shooter. He is one of the top shooters of the last 15 years or more. But the main thing is his teaching ability, his approach to training and the clarity of thought he brings to the understanding of high performance shooting. There, he stands alone, with only a few guys ever: Louis Awerbuck, Brian Enos, Todd Green. |

Has anyone in the thread watched the video yet? No mentions of the slides of the other person's IG post that were discussed? Nobody mentioning how the slides basically say sig doesn't care what happens on the civvie market and that they apparently didn't believe the earlier drop failures were real and they only did hte voluntary recall becase their lawyers forced them to? |
