I found out I will be needing a signature input pad for my work for getting signatures on contracts, so I need to get one ASAP.  Bad news is I know nothing about them other that there's a lot of them out there ranging from $40 to over $300.  Which ones at a decent price have you guys used and recommend?  I'm working with a Mac mostly, if that matters.

Wacom is the brand you want.

That should work just fine for what you need.
There is nothing you can buy that will be more reliable for 70$. I have their last generation pro version (intuos 3) and LOVE IT.

I just picked this up actually: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002OOWC3I/ref=oss_product for 3D work that I do. Never really used a tablet before and I didn't wanna drop major cash for a large model. So far I'm enjoying it. Very nice tablet for the money.

+1 for the Wacom Bamboo tablet. As a bonus it is really helpful in Photoshop if you are so inclined
