As a shooting community in general, we need more of this. Public ridicule for those that don't believe in 2A rights. Shame them, and laugh at them. No we don't. Signs like that are idiotic. Just because someone once voted for Obama, doesn't mean that he hasn't changed his mind. Not many people have a fixed ideology that remains unchanged for their entire lives. What we need to do is convert people into being pro-gun. This is not the way to go about doing that. (And hard-core antis are not going to be at the gun show anyway.) This dealer, by posting the signs, is trying to pander to the prevailing sentiment at the gun show. He may not actually believe that stuff himself. As a collector, I've found that dealers making those kinds of statements don't usually have the kind of things I would be interested in buying anyway. More likely, he's selling beef jerky and Chinese optics -- or right-wing bumper stickers and signs. |

Anyone who voted for him was/is too stupid. |

You know its funny when we are horrified when certain people on the left side of the isle vilify gun owners and say they all need to be killed etc. that we aren't even people Its funny when we say thats fucked up and they are terrible people. But when we say it about them its A - OK I side with AlexanderA, try to convert them if you can, if you spout rhetoric like this you're playing into their agenda and only confirming what they believe to be true. Thanks for more idiotic input.... There you go again, misrepresenting what I wrote. I never said that rape victims deserved being raped. I said that women should protect themselves, through, among other things, situational awareness. That awareness includes knowing the cultural biases of the men they might encounter. I'm afriad that the victims, in many cases, let their guard down. |
