| Fair warning guys, I'm buying some silver for the first time. If past performance of my investing is any indicator, the time to get away from silver is NOW! Market crashing (even more) in 5 4 3... |

Quoted: Where are you buying silver for a reasonable price? The closest I can find to spot is 8% over. No thank you. I prefer Texas metals, but they aren't always the best price. Great company though. |

So the time to buy should be in about 3 months or so. Quoted:

OP says he is buying silver, but it's time to get out of silver. OK. It's because every time he buys it goes lower......kind of if I do it then you shouldn't due to my bad luck. You've heard of the Midas touch. This is called the Fecal touch - where everything goes to shit. Based on my stock picking skilz, I has it too. |

| Spot price keep going down, but vendors price over spot keeps going up. What was being sold at $2.99 over spot a week or two ago is now being sold at $4.89 over spot and the final selling price has remained basically the same for Silver Eagles. It would appear that the silver vendors don't want to lose money on the inventory they bought at a higher price a few weeks ago. I expect that the price over spot will come down when the vendors current inventories are replenished with lower cost silver that they order from the U.S. Mint this week if the spot price remains somewhat steady and supply remains good. IMO, the price is OK and still a good buy, but it could get much better if the spot price remains around $14.00 or lower for an extended period of time. |

Quoted: If the price is dropping then isn't it time to buy? With silver, there is strong evidence that it will be dropping even more until it reaches its historic average around $5-10/oz. Per Kitco, in Aug 2011 silver was around $42/oz. Aug 2012, $30/oz. Aug 2013, $22/oz. Aug 2014, $20/oz. Aug 2015, $15/oz. If you do a quick graph of those numbers the trend is clear. |

Quoted: My kids are too old to play with "pirate treasure", but if it drops below $8 again I'll get some more for my grandkids (someday)... someone here traded me some silver coins for a backpack, the market has been sinking nearly every day since then. I keep meaning to take them home so the kids can throw them in the cat's little box or something |

I have absolutely NO understanding of this (or any other) market! My guess is that I'll buy in, it will drop 15 - 20% then a week after I choose to sell there will be a huge rally.
It is all good though, I'm buying mostly just to horde some. Quoted:
OP, you seem to believe that you have an understanding of the PM markets so please inform us as to what price per oz Silver will reset to? |

Have you noticed how much above spot that are now charging for silver? Even if it was $5 an ounce you would probably be paying $8 $15 for it. Quoted:

Quoted: What's good to buy? I have a bunch of shit in my safe people just keep telling me to sit on. They'll probably keep telling me to sit on it while I am old and grey too. When is this shit ever gonna pay for itself? You can pick up some of the wildlife series Canadian coins for about the same as a Canadian maple, and it will many times be worth more than a maple later on due to limited numbers being minted. The Canadian wolf for instance is for sale at around $40 right now, but when it came out you could get it a bit over spot. http://www.apmex.com/product/59085/2011-canada-1-oz-silver-wildlife-series-wolf |
