I tried this in the FAL section, but got nothing. I need a quality single-point sling for a DSA folder. I am not too concerned about price. The sling needs to ride high and tight by the shoulder - I like bungie, but I am open to suggestions. Any help is appreciated. Someone please point me in the right direction! |

The DSA folder comes with that nice sling swivel on the left side just where you need it to be (at least it does on mine!) If you are a rightie ANY single point sling will work. There is no "right one". The very simplicity of a single point sling means that they are all practically the same. So, you need to decide on: 1. What width webbing? 2. Hook, trigger snap, snap shackle, slide-fastener or permanent attachment? 3. Bungee or no-bungee? Personally I like 2" webbing, trigger snaps and a fairly stiff bungee. IMHO the best single point sling made like this is made by these guys: northeasttactical.com/OnePt.html#elasticcord Meanwhile, while you're deciding, go down to the local climbing place and get a few feet of webbing and a slide buckle, thread it through and you'll be in business for $10 while you decide. aa |
