I see the FTN6 gurus are recommending this filament, as well as their GF.  Reading through the GF specs there are lots of warnings about wearing PPE and to avoid inhaling the glass fibers.  Makes me think twice about using it.

They have two kinds of CF filament. One is 25% CF and is centered in the core of the filament.  Pricey at $86/kg.
The other is 15% CF and the fiber is dispersed throughout the filament much like Fiberon and Sunlu.  Cheaper at $57/kg.

Anybody looked at this stuff or used it?

Have some, not used it yet. I've used their PET-CF though. Yeah, rough stuff; I handle with nitrile gloves. BUT, that is the same with all filled filament. Honestly, I'm really starting to go away from CF/GF filled stuff unless needed, and then I use PPE and plan on coating the print when done. For 2A stuff, I'm painting.

Ya, i have some of that too and it has a lot of nasty whiskers, but my goodness is it some strong stuff.

Whiskers on mine might be from the seam setting.  I would like to master it though.

Yeah, I decided to overkill the shit out of a Starlink Mini mount and make it from PET-CF.

Strong bastard

Based on the testing that My Tech Fun on YT did the Core is the strongest, but I have used a lot of the regular PPA-CF and it has been extremely strong.   I have a spool of the Core that I have been saving for something special, but now that the FTN.6 pack is released that may be what gets it.

I've used both their PPA and PPA-CF filaments and they're great and NOTICEABLY stronger than LLA Pro/+. In my pulse rifle picture below, the pump handle, pistol grip, and barrel vent were all printed with PPA-CF. The pump handle was printed when my chamber heater was working and looks PERFECT. The quality on the grip and barrel vent were not as good and required some clean up, though they still look ok. I think it was because I didn't have adequate chamber temperature. I'm going to reprint them once I get the heater fixed here this week.

Ive used a bunch of their PPA-CF.  Once dialed in, the results are amazing.  I havent used the stuff with the CF in the core, just the regular kind.  Be prepared for twaeking settings.  It must be bone dry, and cannot feed through an AMS.  Way too brittle, like uncooked spahgetti noodle brittle.  I upgraded the plastic tube that it feeds through with better quality, lower friction tubing.  Also chamfered the end of the tubing so it would feed more smoothly.  It is super abrasive filament.

Get a heated dry box to feed it from, and the direction and orientation from which it feeds is critical because it is so brittle.  Any sudden bend anywhere and it tends to break.  I print it in my H2D through the TPU port.  Also, once you have dried it in the oven, keep the heated dry box running 24/7 to keep the moisture out of it.

Theres a learning curve and its a pain in the butt to work with sometimes, but the end results can be amazing.  Also, wear eye pro while breaking off supports.  Stuff is super hard and tends to break violently and send small, sharp pieces flying at orbital re-entry speeds.  Or at minimum, engage safety squint.
