Got a letter in the mail today saying if we act now to sign up for SirusXM they will waive the reactivation fee and we will get a %50 discount....
It will cost $77 for a year....for the XM select package...at a savings of "over" $93 Good deal or not so good??? |

Be aware that they will automatically renew your service at the higher rate when the year is up. Pay with a check to avoid that scenario. This^ It will be like AOL trying to get away from them when you get tired of hearong the same songs over and over again!

| I had it free for a year on my truck and they sent me a renewel offer when it was running out. I ignored it and they kept sending me a letter every few weeks. Interestingly enough the price kept getting lower the longer I waited. Can't remember the last price they offered, but it was a lot lower than their initial offer. So I wouldn't bite on the the first letter they send you. And no, I didn't renew mine, just not in the truck enough to justify what little I actually listened to it compared to AM/FM/CD/MP3 that is free. |

Good deal. But do you love music? Do you have an aftermarket car stereo or a high quality factory (if there is such a thing)? Pay with a check. I love Siruis in my wife's car. I hate the compressed sound of the XM previously and Sirius now that expires on 8/2. BigDozer66 |

I honestly never turn it on anymore since I can stream Pandora through the BT audio. I should probably cancel it. So you just hook up your BT audio source (iPhone4 in my case) through the BT or Aux cord? I haven't tried it but I will if it is this easy! BigDozer66 |

Both my wife and I have Sirius/XM in our vehicles, my vehicle is covered under a "lifetime" membership but my wife if on a yearly plan. Every year I call and and get the discounted rate of $77 p/year; the full price it too much and I always threatened to cancel which works.
YMMV… |
