Anybody remember Sizzlelean? Having a discussion with my buddy. He maintains it was soy protein, I say that it was crap filler meat with bacon flavoring added in. Haven't seen it in years.

It was legally called a "cured meat food product" or something like that.  It was horrible IIRC.

I remember it came in a huge ass cardboard box, it was like the UPS sent fake bacon when my mom brought it home.

I'm pretty sure you're right. I remember the stuff. I think it was scraps that they couldn't use for strip bacon. He may be partly correct about the soy filler, though. They used something to bind it together.

I used to love it as a kid, but haven't seen it in ages.
I think the last time I had it I was maybe 6 or 7.

Bleech, the grease from REAL bacon made the eggs or pancakes 10 times better.
