I made my first batch of a lemon wine. From start to drinking my first bottle was 40 days. I figure it to be
about 10% alchol. I backed sweeten it with 10 oz sugar per gallon but found that is a little too sweet for my taste but women seem to llike it sweet. My wife was surprize at how smooth it was with no after bite.Go to SkeeterPee,.com to learn how to make it. I called my wine PI PI di Gatto. I dranked 2.5 bottles since Saturday night. Got some Blueberry wine aging for 4 months now. I will be bottling it in a week or so. Now this should be a dry country wine. I may mix a bottle of PiPi di Gatto with a bottle of blueberry. I am enjoying making and drinking country wines. If I ever get some bee hives making mead is in my future. |
