| Did the Sling TV trial and wasn't impressed. I've read that there are a lot of streaming issues, although I didn't have any that I remember during my trial. I went with Playstation Vue on Amazon Fire TV, it rocks. https://vue.playstation.com/watch/ |

I just recently did the 7-day trial, I'm going to keep it for the time being at least.
My primary interest in it is motorsports... the live channels run fine. I too have had spotty trouble with streaming but that's not really what I have it for. My son as a PS4 console, so I might look into the Vue subscription. |

Just a heads up. You don't have to have a Playstation Console, to run Playstation Vue. I run it on Amazon Fire TV, and I believe someone else stated they run it on Roku. I've got both, but I don't think I added it to the Roku's in my kids bedrooms. Thanks |

Their service works the best on the Roku platform. I've had issues with an Xbox One over wifi, Amazon Fire stick, and windows PC. That being said, I also recently found out my old wireless router was causing most of my streaming problems with Sling TV. With the new/better router, it's been practically perfect.
$20 a month with no contract is great. |

Have had it for a little under a year now. I stream using the Amazon fire stick
I started with Playstation vue, and it was awesome. Ended up switching from that to Sling due to room mate wanting a particular channel. Whatever. Sling sucked ass for several months. Awful buffering, crashing, load times, were all terrible. They did some patching and for the past 3 months or so, it's been working great. I prefer Playstation vue, but, sling is a lot better now. Does it run as smooth as netflix or hulu or pretty much any other streaming app... no. |
