I just emailed a company this week looking for information on e-glass, that LCD glass that can switch from clear to opaque by flipping a switch.
I have a picture window that is all too often looked into by solicitors.  
I'd love to put a motion sensor on it.

These look badass, maybe contact Samsung.  The virtual blinds are badass, I wouldn't need blackout blinds anymore.

Whoa, that's cool.  I wonder how it works? two transparent electrodes, transparent transistors, transparent active layers.  Inorganic or organic?

ETA: And the display is uni directional.

That would indeed suck, I wonder how durable they are.  I've never had a broken window, but I could see it happening the day I install something like that.
