In Charleston some schools used to let the seniors drive then buses...I wonder if they still do that? You could actually start later in your junior year which I did. My senior class was the last year in SC that they allowed students to drive and I don't think it was a coincidence. |

I've travelled that stretch (I-84 to I-81 to I-77 to I-85) quite a bit and in winter there are times when you take your life in your hands. |

Unless it has changed recently you can drive a bus in NC as long as you are 18 with the proper license. |
