From my note that was in the baggie this was $11 twenty years ago. With prices being what they are, and non-cubans being as good as many of them have become, I'm not buying any more Cubans. I would wholeheartedly recommend almost anything from Fabrica5 for a Cubanesque profile. It's not exactly the same but it's similar. And with better QC. |

I have by no means tried all of their different lines, but the ones I have (this, Monte Espada and Espada Oscuro, Crux Habano and Bull & Bear, Ferio Tego Timeless Supreme) all have a commonality of this unique tangy vegetal flavor, sometimes strong and sometimes in the background, but it's there. |

Got my first Montecristo 1935 Diamontes last week. This is my first. The rest will go in the humidor to age. I really like it. I like the maduro version too. I started with those. I'll definitely be ordering more if these to rest for a while.  I don't usually go all the way to the nub, but did this time, and still going. Excellent!
