Want to hear a cool story about a poor feral cat that had something happen to his foot that caused it to get maggot infested? Well this poor kitty found his way into a backhoe that was nearby. He stayed in it when it got taken to the neighbors house. Where this young man was going to knock down his mothers weeds. When he started it, the kitty bailed out and ran to the neighbors. They were alerted to it by their trusty dachshund, Carl. They were well off and had attended Berkley College. So they took poor kitty to the vet to have his foot amputated. After spending lots of money and care for kitty he has fully recovered and is now living in a nursing home where the tenants get to see him every day. Even with three legs he can hop up on their laps for petting, which in return he gives them long purrrs.
Well this ain't that story. This is rural Utah, .22LR is still cheap and a backhoe can dig a fast kitty grave..... The End Moral of the story. Take care of your critters so some one else doesn't have to. |

Well, sometimes the humane thing to do is not always the Disney version of life. I don't know if you are trolling or not - probably won't get a big reaction among shooters and hunters. Just a reminder to keep track of your critters. If you don't want them, take them to a shelter or euthanize them yourself. And the like you said. Life is not like Disney. The critters don't always live happily ever after. |
