Ok, so I have a favor to ask GD. My room mate has been working on his senior project which has been a software engineering project. It's basically a ebay-like classified ad system for a college campus. You log in and list things for sale/trade, make announcements for lectures or events, even ask for rides to and from various places. It's basically like Craigs list but for a college campus and a little more complex. Essentially what my room mate is interested in is you guys trying to break the code. A login is provided and and basically do whatever you can to create problems. No offense or anything, but it is testing. So we just need logging of things being made, and then purged and retesting of the entries. Feel free to make other posts, but don't get upset if they get purged again. (also keep in mind that potentially faculty and alumni will be looking at this and we don't want to get in trouble) |

Hi, this is the said roommate who wrote this application. Things have been a bit busy, but finally I am commenting here. Anyway, I realized the mistake of letting you guys post your tomfoolery hat So, I've created a new place to do testing. Feel free to post whatever there, within reason. I have also moved all previous items to it. klassica.wwc.edu/arftest Also, I was using SSL on port 8080, because a cert for a different vhost is on 443. I did that to avoid SSL cert warnings, but IE baulks anyway because of the self-signed cert. Until I get a valid certificate, I'll have to deal with the warning. (crap for the IE7 users). Anyway, give me your feedback about design, functionality, and any security problems you notice. If you hack it, don't harm anything on the server, and send me a msg on the Klassica contact page. Enigma102083: I got the main menu screen on Firefox, but I got the error messge "Klassica.wwc.edu has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error Code:-12281." I could not bring up the main screen when I tried MS IE, so there is problem here. ETA: I can bring up the main menu on IE, but it can't find the server for sign-on. |
