So, reading about how soldiers had to deal with supply shortages in Iraq piqued my interest, anybody have some stories they're like to share about creative solder's solutions to supply problems?(this may come in handy for me in a little while)

Well, In Honduras, we would go to the Air Force side of base, and steal plywood to build our decks  [:D]

In Nam we raided the RedHorse compound for plywood to built our 'sand box' barricades for our shop![snoopy]

Other than our new headshed losing our parts for two months,and I'm getting duece and half parts, helicopter shrouds,etc instead of computer parts.Things we had to hide for an IG inspection. Raised floors with tunnels do wonders.

after you designat which peshmerga are on the assault, support by fire, aid and litter, orp security and celibatory fire teams :) designate the old guys left over to strip the dead and police up the area these people should have empty rucks/ bags/ duffle
also keep a rolling stock of supplies during your pmt then store them away for a rainy day
