| I know that I have posted many things that may have offended people in the last few weeks. I am sorry. I have been going through very rough times and I have inappropriately expressed it here. I have a hard time making friends and one of my best friends is moving back to Pennsylvania, plus I have been going through very tough times at school and have been for all practical purposes disowned by my parents. I spend a large amount of my time here and consider you fellow board members my friends. I feel like such a tool to even post this but I saw my best friend for the last time tonight. I am drunk and should by all rights not be posting but I am sorry. I came home after seeing my friend off and am in tears and realized that the only people I could tell were you on this board. Sorry. I want to thank all of you, you have been a place of refuge in my absolute worst of times. Sorry I am not usually like this. For those of you that I offended I am sorry. Thank you for being there if even only over the internet and I am sorry. |

I hate when friends move away. I also hate when I get drunk and piss off everyone else. [:)] Take it easy Rickyj. It's the internet. We all type crap we regret later. You would think it would be hard to make "friends" on the internet, but the reality is that common moral values and interests are the foundation of friendships. There is plenty of that here. Hence, except for a few no good lunatics, we are all friends to some extent here. No worries mate! |

Ricky-That sucks, one of my best friends (in fact we've probably been friends since before you were born! damn that's depressing) had to move to California (yuck!) so I know how you feel. I feel like Frodo going into Mordor every time I visit out there. Check out the hometown board and try to get a shoot or something going in your area. In my experience the guys from this site are even more friendly in person. Or look into doing some sport shooting-I've never done it, but the Glock Shooting Sports Foundation and IDPA look fun and you would get to meet lots of different people. One of the guys that I went out with to see my friend off decided to go on a destructive bent. I'm not a light weight by any means but this guy was bringing drinks like nobodies business. I had 3 drinks stacked up on the bar at one point. LOL. Then this guy decides to start up with the bouncer, gets in his face and the next thing I know the bouncers are on us. Then walking home after we get tossed he has the brilliant idea of throwing snowballs at cop cars (we all do it of course [whacko]) and we end up running piss drunk in the middle of the night on snow and ice. No problem as you realize that this is a real place ,in real time,with real people. If one works eight hours,plays eight hours,sleeps eight hours then you live in a real twenty-four hour world. If you just slept half your life and were awake half your life,and the sleeping(dream life) were most fulfilling of the two,which one satifies you the most? Rickyj, Don't sweat it. Everybody has to let off a little steam now and then. I've done it myself once or twice here. [;)] I was wondering what was going on though, since you and I seemed to agree on things lately.
