I have these drives in my 2nd computer but it seems to have dont it on both of them. I get a crackle sound when playing back CDs and DVDs, seems to happen on both of my drives too.
Any ideas Im running out of them

make sure your speaker plug is firmly plugged into your soundcard. Try a different set of speakers, does it do the same thing??
