The closest I have seen for sale is the "Punch" personal defense sprays which contain 1% CS.

Actual CS grenades would be prohibited due to their explosive nature( even if it is simply to propel the carrier gas).

As far as CS crystals go I do not know. However, I would like to find out if it can be procurred so I know what to expect first hand when I get to Ft Benning this fall.

It's not that big adeal just dont panic it wont hurt you . That was one of the few "Things we did" on PI , that I had any advantage just by staying composed , a lot of folks dont . Dont rub your eyes dont rinse w/ water . Once you "realize" it's not going to hurt you , you won that one . one more damn thing behind you ...less to go .

CS is most definitly legal for civilians. (in most areas)

Check the EE.... there's a group buy doing on CS grenades.

(+1)  The only thing that will happen with CS is that you'll get a runny nose and your eyes will tear up some.  Hell!... we have Tough Man Competitions where the guys will go in without a gas mask and see who will last the longest.  The longest I've seen was 23 min.  I was only able to last about 7 min.  Of course by then, they up-ed the dosage of CS pellets (by a lot) and it really started to burn.  For you at bootcamp (or wherever you are going), it won't be that strong like we had it.

If you have a cold... this is the best way to clear it out  Semper Fi!

Actually, you can buy 37mm CS grenades on GunBroker.com.  It's a little expensive for what they are asking, but it's not hard to get.

I'm looking for granulated CS like we used to throw out the back of our vehicles while in convoys across the desert. I have some areas where people go that they  don't need to be going.

lol..I know a guy (Army) who used to use powdered CS on convoys.  The first one through wouldn't get the affect, but would kick it up into the air and everyone behind would have some problems.

Leaving behind powdered CS on the ground is old hat.  They did it when I was in the Army.  It’s a nice way to slow down infiltrators.

I wonder if anybody is doing anything like that now in The Sandbox?
It just might come in handy one day.

Pure Capsaicin(C) and rock salt does wonders for those who wish to follow you on a road.

Pure capsaicin has a Scoville heat unit score of 16 million so they are not going to be following long and it would take a few good rain storms to wash it away.
