My parents desktop got infected and lost several programs and files. Dell claims that this desktop was shipped with the OS disc, but my dad doesn't remember seeing any discs. Product is outside of warranty.
Does anyone have a reliable source for ordering recovery discs online? These will be for a Dell Dimension E-510. Thanks. |

I've purchased off eBay before. The Dell xp discs should work on any Dell pc. I have access to recovery discs from a Dell laptop, but I didn't think I could use them in a desktop. If it's just os install disc it should work. If it's the cd's that have an actual model number on them, then those are just for that model if memory serves me correctly. |

These were discs created by the user post purchase. I would imagine there is more than just the OS. |
