The shovel blades looked like bare metal to me, and the skeleton stock of the AK is just carbon steel without bluing. |

Ever hear of hoecakes? Slaves and poor whites use to cook their cornmeal batter on the blade of a hoe. That's how it was done in the South for years. That the Russians use shovels makes sense, unless that same shovel was just used for scooping out a sh*tter.
Roasting meats or spam on their folding stocks? We can't do that with our ARs. We can't sit on the aluminium magazine of our ARs either. Now, the bottle opener, that's clever. |
